MICK PASTOR 1.50 Wincanton NO BET - Odds on after 2 main rivals have defected.

VOLATILE ANALYST 2.05 Doncaster e/w - Goes best with cut in the ground and is easily as effective over 6 or 7 furlongs. Will get the strong pace he craves.

SENIOR CITIZEN 2.15 Aintree e/w - Effective over these fences and should put up a bold show so long as the ground continues to dry out.

WYNN HOUSE 2.25 Wincanton e/w - Consistent as a novice last term and can build on a pleasing second last time on handicap debut off 2lb higher.

EAST ASIA 2.40 Doncaster e/w - Easy winner last time when allowed to pounce late on after being held up off the pace. A repeat is on the cards so long as he isn't produced too early.

SOME CHAOS 3.00 Wincanton e/w - Smart stayer who had plenty more in reserve when an easy winner last time on first run after a wind operation. More improvement likely.

BREWIN'UPASTORM 3.20 Aintree - Easy winner of a Grade 2 in February before finding a few too good in the Aintree hurdle. This is a big drop in class and he sets a good standard despite giving weight away all round.

SCEAU ROYAL 3.35 Wincanton - 2/2 in this race having won it in 2016 and 2020. Comfortable winner of a listed event on reappearance 3 weeks ago. Will be primed today.
