The incessant rain and deteriorating rain had a big say in the results.

My preference however is GRAND ROI the mount of Davy Russell, he was aimed at this race last year going off favourite but nothing went right, he is well worth a chance again. Willie Mullin’s MAZE RUNNER is interesting dropping back in trip after struggling over further. | PU |

REDEMPTION DAY however totally destroyed the opposition on debut last time with his jockey not even having to find top gear.
