Overview of Using Ratings to identify possible Each Way Bets

The strategy of Using Ratings to identify possible Each Way Bets was born from a desire to find a regular supply of viable each way bets without being overwhelmed by the number of qualifiers.

Our main criteria for finding potential qualifiers is Top Ranked on LR.

For the uninitiated LR (Last Race) is our performance rating for a horses latest race, we have gone for this metric as if a horse has achieved a high LR it quite of means that the horse is on form and could well be capable of producing another equally good performance.

Criteria for the Using Ratings to identify possible Each Way Bets:

• Handicaps only
• Minimum 8 runners
• Top Ranked on LR
• At least 6 on the forecast odds column
• Must not be a qualifier on the "Lay betting using the One Stop Rating (OSR)" strategy – These are horses Top Ranked on OSR but only ahead by between 1 and 5 points.

We recommend backing this each way using a bookmaker that offers extra places. All of our results are monitored using Skybet as they provide extra places in many handicaps each day.
