ANALYSIS: Why trainers complain about prize money then the most valuable race of the day ends up with just 4 runners is beyond me. That said it is a very competitive affair and any of the 4 could run out the winner although they all have questions to answer. Top LR LA RENOMMEE ran well last time but struggled at this sort of trip over hurdles. MAID O’MALLEY won this race last year but has struggled off revised handicap mark since. HAUTE ESTIME has the best speed figure (SR) but she hasn’t reproduced her hurdles form over fences yet. Which leaves us with LILITH top ranked on both HS and OSR, won twice over fences last year, needs to improve on last 2 runs but has dropped to a workable handicap mark and could well bounce back.
