Dear ,
Tomorrow marks the start of the three day Grand National Festival and what a spectacle it is set to be 21 top class races including 10 Grade 1's and of course the big race itself the Grand National Steeplechase over a gruelling 4m and 2f with 40 runners and 18 difficult fences.
Free for you are the significant trends for the The Manifesto Novices’ Steeple Chase (Class 1) Grade 1, the first race on day 1
According to recent statistics and trends for the Manifesto Novices' Steeple Chase, several factors may influence a horse's chances of winning the race.
Age appears to be a significant factor, as 10 of the last
11 winners were aged between 6 and 8 years old. This suggests that horses in this age range may have the necessary experience and physical ability to excel in this type of race.
In terms of betting, only one of the last 11 winners was a favourite, while nine out of 11 winners
were in the top three in the betting. This indicates that there may be some value in backing horses with slightly longer odds, but that the favourite should not be discounted entirely. 9 of the 11 winners had an SP of between 6/5 and 5/1.
Last run before Aintree, none of the last 11 winners won on their last run. However, eight out of 11
winners ran within the last 30 days, indicating that horses that have recently raced may have a slight advantage.
Previous course form and distance form also appear to be relevant factors. Eight out of 11 winners had at least one
previous run at Aintree, while just one out of 11 winners had a previous win at the course. Additionally, eight out of 11 winners had at least one previous run over 19-21 furlongs, and six out of 11 had at least one previous win over this distance.
Horses with previous hurdle and chase experience also seem to perform well in the Manifesto Novices' Steeple Chase. All 11 winners had at least five previous runs over hurdles, and 10 out of 11 winners had at least two hurdle wins. Similarly,
all 11 winners had at least four previous chase runs, with 10 out of 11 winners having at least two chase wins.
A high official rating may also be considered an important factor, as nine out of 11 winners were rated 150 or
higher.
Additionally, seven out of 11 winners had at least one previous win in a grade 1-3 race, indicating that previous success in high-quality races may be an important indicator of future performance.
Finally, season form may also be a relevant factor, as
all 11 winners had at least four runs that season, and 10 out of 11 winners had at least two wins during the season. This suggests that horses with a good track record of consistent performances throughout the season may be more likely to succeed in this race.
