We just missed out on the place yesterday.

Plenty of racing today, here are the ITV races.

1.45 Newbury MASEKELA - Went very close in a Newmarket Group 2 last time, this is a fair drop in class.

2.00 Newmarket MIDRARR - Won last two on sand, return to turf shouldn't pose a problem and still looks fairly handicapped under a penalty.

2.20 Newbury HUKUM - NO BET - Sets the standard, won this last year with a degree of authority and was right back to that form when winning at York last month. 

2.35 Newmarket DEVILS ANGEL E/W - Has been well supported all morning, won over CD last time and only up 3lb for that. Should be thereabouts.

2.55 Newbury SUNSET BAY - Massive improver, took a decent field apart last time and is expected to progress again.

3.10 Ripon GHATHANFAR E/W - The race has cut up a bit and most of the value o this has gone. Consistent all season and should be thereabouts again.

3.30 Newbury NJORD E/W - Has some good form at this level. Not suited by trip and going last time but should bounce tight back with conditions to suit.

3.45 Ripon MR WAGYU E/W - Won convincingly at Goodwood last time, further progression likely despite the hike in the weights.
